Adult Education at the Headley-Whitney Museum focuses on enhancing the Museum experience – supplementing our exhibitions through programming such as lectures,
workshops and other opportunities.

Recent lecturers have included:
The Museum offers hands-on activities with varying themes for adults and families on a periodic basis. These workshops are a chance for you to try your hand at creating a unique piece of decorative art to take home and treasure. Occasionally, exhibiting artists lead the workshop and demonstrate their craft – don't miss these particularly special opportunities! Appropriate age and skill levels of participants vary with each workshop and are outlined in the description of individual events.
George Headley was an active scholar of the decorative arts, and as such collected a library that boasts over 1,500 volumes. Keeping in this academic tradition, the Headley-Whitney Museum opens its library doors to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as individuals interested in conducting research. An appointment is required.
