El Caballo : The Horse in Mexican Folk Art

 The folk art tradition in Mexico stretches back over two thousand years.  El Caballo:  The Horse in Mexican Folk Art utilizes this wonderful folk art tradition to explore the horse’s prominence in Mexican culture through the work of its artists.  The horse is portrayed in a variety of materials including ceramics, paintings, paper, sculpture and metalwork.
