Description A round black onyx base and a round gold base with hand engraved grape leaf motif. The edge of the top and bottom of the base are embellished with gold twisted wire. The carved face of Bacchus is hollow, and the mouth and eyes are pierced. Each eye contains one round cabochon emerald bezel set in yellow gold. The back of the mask is a hand fabricated grape and grape leaf screen.
