The Headley-Whitney Museum is located 6 miles from downtown Lexington, KY. Follow New Circle Road (Rt. 4) to Exit 6, Old Frankfort Pike. At the end of the ramp follow signs to Frankfort. The Museum is located 4 miles from the exit at 4435 Old Frankfort Pike.

Tuesday - Friday: 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Guided Tours Daily. Last tour provided at 4pm.

Directions:

From Cincinnati:
1.) Take I-75 South towards Louisville/Lexington about 69 miles.
2.) Take Exit 115 (KY-922) towards BG Parkway /Airport/Lexington. Turn left onto KY-922
(Newtown Pike).
3.) Take Newtown Pike 1.6 miles to New Circle Road (KY-4)
4.) Turn right onto New Circle Road and go 2.8 miles to Old Frankfort Pike.
5.) Turn Right onto Old Frankfort Pike and go 4.4 miles to the Museum.
6.) Come to a complete stop before turning right into the museum.
Parking is to your left after you enter.

From Louisville:
1.) Take 1-64 East to Exit 58. Turn right onto Frankfort/Versailles Road (Hwy.60).
2.) Take Frankfort/Versailles Rd. (Hwy 60.) 3 miles to Steele Rd. (Hwy 1685)
3.) Turn left at the water tower onto Steele Rd. and take it a short distance till it ends at
Old Frankfort Pike.
4.) Turn right onto Old Frankfort Pike and travel 11 miles to the Museum.
5.) Come to a complete stop before turning left into the museum. Parking is to your left after you enter.

From Lexington:
1.) Take Main Street West just past Rupp Arena to Jefferson Street.
2.) Turn left onto Jefferson St. and prepare to take an almost immediate right.
3.) Turn right onto Manchester St. This street becomes Old Frankfort Pike.
4.) After about 2 miles you will pass over New circle Road (KY 4) The museum is 4.4 miles past New Circle Road on your right.
5.) Come to complete stop before turning right into the Museum. Parking is to your left after you enter.

Please Note: Old Frankfort Pike is a narrow country road and although the posted speed limit is 55 MPH we strongly urge you to keep your speed no higher than 40 for safety reasons. And besides, if you are driving more slowly you will better be able to enjoy what is rated as one of the top scenic highways in America!
