The Headley-Whitney Museum seeks to connect people with their culture and the cultures of others through the collection, interpretation and exhibition of the decorative arts -- furniture, metalwork, textiles and ceramics. The permanent collection includes jewelry and bibelots designed by Headley, his jewelry specifications, 18th and 19th century Chinese textiles, and Chinese ceramics which range in date from the Neolithic, Tang, Song, Ming and Qing periods.
