Honor your favorite pet
With a custom engraved brick in the
memorial pet walkway
around George Headley's pet cemetery.
George Headley, founder of the Headley Whitey Museum, adored his pets and created a memorial for each of his 20 dachshunds, and one cat, Kitty White Sox, who thought she was a dog.
Ernie the dachshund was Headley's pride and joy. When running his jewelry boutique at the Bel-Air Hotel in California, Headley would dress Ernie in diamond bracelets and let him run around the pool to attract all the sunbathing celebrities and socialites to his boutique. He usually sold the item that Ernie modeled. Ernie lived from 1942 until 1957.
Funds raised from this project will help maintain the Museum's beautiful rose garden and grounds.
