Artists can learn by studying each other’s styles and techniques, as is the case for me in this work. Two artists, Theo Stenlin and Anders Zorn, are recognized in this painting. Steinlen, known for his paintings and sculptures of cats, used a highly stylized approach in his works. The Zorn Palette, a limited palette of four colors attributed to him, consists of ivory black, yellow ochre, vermilion and flake white. Merci to these two gentlemen. - Suzy Smith
